Morgan Taylor at NYFW Fall 2016
New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2016 encompassed three major nail trends, all of which can make the easy transition from runway to real way for everyone from the trendy teen to the working woman. Neutrals were the defining factor amongst the major trends. Whether the nails were soft and subtle or bold as can be, the general tone was to more natural hues. On the runway, the juxtaposition of modern and vintage-inspired tones and textures was ever present. Manicures followed suit with the use of silky pale, yet pigmented pinks and attainable, subtle nail design. In direct contrast, if soft pink isn't up your alley, try bringing fall to your fingertips with rich tones of rust and mocha. These rich earth tones will take you fall manicure to the next level and complete any outfox perfectly. Finally, funkiness can be expressed by having a metallic moment. Pair oxidized metals with classic silhouettes for a refreshing twist on an otherwise simple look.
